Life Cycle Analysis
The Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) is a technique which considers the "cradle to grave" principle to assess the environmental aspects and potential impacts associated with a product, process, or service, by:
- Identifying the different aspects on the environment of the production, use and end of life of a product
- Assessing, for each aspect, the relevant impacts on the environment,
- Interpreting the results to help us to define the SD strategy.
Life Cycle Analysis is a major input for Eco-conception.
